Simple Fall Decor

So, I may be biased considering fall is my favorite season but who doesn't love the warmth and coziness fall decor can bring to a home? Whether you're balling on a budget or simply just have a limited amount of space, decorating for the season doesn't have to be challenging. I've complied some simple and cost effective decor ideas to help you get in the autumn spirit.

Mini Fabric Pumpkins
Small Fabric Pumpkins in Gray, Burgundy and Orange

For $7 you can snag some miniature fabric pumpkins and I mean come on, how cute are these? For all you neutral decor lovers, these are the perfect touch. They're simple and small yet they make a statement. The best part is, they can be packed away and reused for next year.

Faux Flower Arrangement

A faux flower arrangement is a great and simple way to liven up your space while adding a pop of those warm fall tones. I crafted this arrangement for $6 using items from the Dollar Tree. Don't have a Dollar Tree near you? No worries, you can shop them online. JoAnne's, Hobby Lobby and Michael's also have a great selection of faux florals. Some of my favorite fall florals include mums, sunflowers, peonies, maple leaves, heather bush, wheat and cotton, just to name a few.

Throw Blankets

Throw blankets, can you ever have too many? The answer is no, unless you ask my fiancĂ©. All jokes aside, I'm a big fan of multipurpose items especially due to the fact I live in a travel trailer with less than 250 sq ft of living space. Throw blankets are the perfect statement piece for your living room or bedroom and hello, they're so cozy. Consider grabbing an affordable throw like this one from Amazon. Rust, red, orange, gold, beige, or mustard are perfect seasonal colors. In terms of patterns, you really can't go wrong with plaid or buffalo check.

Seasonal Dish Towels

Minimalistic and multipurpose make seasonal dish towels my jam. You can go anywhere from neutral and simple, like this adorable tea towel from House + Holm, to colorful and bold. Either way, you can't go wrong.

Placemats

Another multipurpose piece to add to your fall decor must haves. Placemats are adorable, affordable and easy to store. They may even inspire you to invite family and friends over for a holiday meal.

Pillow Covers

If you're like me and have a slight obsession with throw pillows... pillow covers are meant for you. Rather than accumulating 20+ pillows that take up far too much space, give your significant other copious amounts of anxiety and are annoying to store, make the investment into a handful of 18"x18" pillows. Pillow covers are a fun way to refresh your space for the season and are much more affordable than a traditional throw pillow.
